DERC Proteomics Core

The Mass Spectrometry Resource and the Protein Mass Spectrometry Core of the DERC are located at South Lake Union.  These facilities provide access to the powerful tools of modern mass spectrometry to investigators to permit structural identification and quantification of biomolecules involved in obesity, diabetes and their complications.

Current services provided by the Resource include: shotgun proteomics, isotope dilution GC/MS analysis of small molecules, quantification of proteins with isotope labeled peptides and proteins, quantification of post-translational modifications of proteins, and computational analysis of large data sets.
